fashion designers, schools of fashion and design

I have been wanting to be a fashion designer for ages, and I draw couture gowns and high fashion outfits all the time and I really really think my designs have a lot of international potential. But the problem is that I can’t sew. I am taking art in high school right now and want to work on designing but now that I started thinking – will any really good design colleges accept me if I don’t know how to sew? Is it manditory?

I would like to major in fashion design when I am out of high school, but I would also like to go to cosmetology school. I will not be able to take cosmetology during high school mostly because I decided what I wanted to do a bit late. Is it possbile to go to both schools at once, or would the schedules conflict?

I’d love to do a degree in fashion design, but haven’t taken art at A level and realistically would be more able to have a career using psychology.
